- Health Career Organization (HCO)
- The Health Careers Organization (HCO) is a multifaceted organization that strives to assist students in exploring the many careers that make up the health care field and discovering the one that best fits them by offering opportunities to meet health professionals and volunteer in the community. HCO advocates diversity and a sense of community in an effort to address the need for more diverse health care providers who are both knowledgable about the other people they will work with in the health care team and who are able to treat people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

- Young At Heart
- Young At Heart is a community service club that volunteers every Saturday from 1-3 PM at a local rest home about 5 minutes from campus called Sunrise Assisted Living, and at another rest home in Grand Terrace about 10 minutes away from campus. We meet at Lot 24 (by the UCR Police Station on Linden and Canyon Crest) at 12:45 PM and carpool over to the rest homes. Some activities that we do include: Bingo, manicures and painting nails, one-one-one conversations with the residents (they have really funny, interesting stories to tell!), and beach ball volleyball. We also throw a dance for them once a quarter (Halloween, Valentine's Day, and a Summer Luau), which is SUPER fun. Basically, we try to make their lives happier while we're there. If you have any questions, please email youngatheart_ucr@yahoo.com . Thanks!
